Originally, a japanese technique to enhance food presentation, the enlarged food experience which it facilitates has finally been recognized in the mainstream in the past 3 years.

For the public at large, most notably parents of young kids, spiralized fruits & vegetables are a fun & tasty treat. This "fresh" take on how vegetables are prepared & served, the novel texture all contribute to creating a stimulating & nutritive eating experience. The pure-vegan, gluten-free, carb-free & fat-free possibilities are particularly suited to special diets. For inventive home cooks, spiralized foods are an unexplored frontier promising exciting discoveries.
